Washington (Kavian Press) – President Donald Trump does not have to hand over his tax returns to Manhattan’s district attorney at this time, an appeals court ruled on Tuesday.
The appeals court ruling comes after the August 20 ruling by U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero to let the New York Prosecutor Cyrus Vance obtain personal and business tax returns of the president for the past eight years.
Trump is the only president in recent times who did not release his tax returns prior becoming the president of the United States. The prior six presidents, both Republican and Democrat, from Jimmy Carter to Barack Obama, have released their tax returns.
